Johnmichael Bohach is a freelance scenic designer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He has frequently worked with companies such as PICT  Classic Theatre, the Pittsburgh Playhouse, Prime Stage Theatre and Kinetic Theatre since graduating in 2006 from the University of Pittsburgh with BAs in Theatre Arts and Architectural Studies.  In recent years, he has also designed for Tibbits Opera Theatre of Coldwater, Michigan, Opera Steamboat of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and the Cockroach Theatre of Las Vegas.

Aside from scenic design, Johnmichael splits his time working extensively with props.  He has been the Properties Coordinator with the Pittsburgh Opera since February 2009 and previously he has held  the position of Prop Shop Supervisor for 10 years in the Theatre Arts department of the University of Pittsburgh.

In 2015 Johnmichael was named one of PICT Classic Theatre's Featured Artists for their 2015-2016 season where he was asked to  design How the Other Half Loves, Sharon's Grave, and Alan Stanford's adaptation of Oliver Twist.
